Our team is looking for an energetic communicator to join us from 1st October until the end of January part-time and February – April full-time. You will develop and implement a strategy of communication with media and our audiences across a number of channels.

Required skills:

  • Excellent writing skills both in Slovak and English language (in special cases we would consider a non-Slovak speaker)
  • Experience in PR, marketing, journalism or related fields
  • Attention to details
  • Very well organised and working towards deadlines in a busy workload
  • Ability to conduct a self-coordinated research
  • Great personal and communication skills

Desired:

  • Experience with writing press copies
  • Established network in local media scene
  • Interest in art and technology

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Writing of press copies with assistance of festival’s director and curators
  • Liaising, establishing and nurturing relationships with media partners and other stakeholders
  • Conduct planning of yearly PR and marketing campaign
  • Liaise and communicate with festival’s marketing partners
  • Edit and adjust texts on Sensorium festival’s website and printed materials
  • Coordinate and control consistency of social media content
  • Attend training and events as relevant
