Joshua Noble

Designing Less Real

Joshua Noble is a designer and engineer working at the intersection of code, design, and fiction. He's based in San Francisco and works creating and prototyping airplanes, automobiles, dressing rooms, alarm clocks and alternate visions of the present and near-future. He formerly worked at frog leading the rapid prototyping practice in Seattle and at Teague creating novel interactions for industrial and product design. Joshua is the author of six books on code and electronics for artists and designers including "Programming Interactivity" and "Arduino in Action". He teaches at the Interaction Design Program at CIID in Copenhagen, Denmark.
