Through the third edition of this interdisciplinary research programme, we aim to explore trajectories, which we understand not only as physical paths, traces, or patterns of the movement of bodies, objects, or elements of natural and social systems, but also as conceptual and data-driven traces that reveal patterns of motion, change, and disruption in broader environmental, social, and political contexts. We are interested in experimental and speculative cartographies of migrations and environmental transformations – the flow of water, air and resources, as well as movements of information, data, voices, signals, and other forms of energy and meaning. The programme will offer theoretical lectures and workshops with experts from artistic and non-artistic disciplines during sessions at the Ji.hlava IDFF, the Kersnikova Institute in Slovenia and during Sensorium in Bratislava. The final projects will be presented at the Display Gallery in Prague. Deadline for applications is August 25, 2025. More information available here.
