Dorota Brázdovičová is a cross-media artist based in Bratislava. Her current interest centres on storytelling in its various forms – be it anecdotes transformed into minimalist songs or representations of her personal experience in static, seemingly nonsensical drawings. Irrespective of form and execution, her work is rife with traces of a millennial life searching for inner balance in an era of information obesity and dopamine-hunting and at least somewhat solid grounds in society’s fluid structures. As one way to offset digital overload and likewise as a form of therapy, she creates works in textile and screen printing under the brand Potvora.
