Emily A. Sprague is a musician who was born and currently resides in the Catskill Mountain forests of New York. Emily’s approach to both composition and performance is a personal and spiritual one, deeply rooted in the communication of emotion through textures and tones that emerge from all the various states of existence. In addition to making music with Florist, a folk trio, Sprague has also self-released two solo modular synths driven drone records, Water Memory (2017) and Mount Vision (2018) for New York based label RVNG Intl. ”Sprague is more or less a minimalist, but her work also carries hints of tension.
