Meet the one and only mobilegirl. As a contemporary and somewhat of an artistic cousin of the likes of Why Be, Dis Fig, M.E.S.H., Kamixlo (…), she has made a name for herself through hybrid club edits of R&B classics. Her debut EP was released on the Stockholm-based label Staycore (e.g. Toxe, Oklou, Lechuga Zafiro, Dinamarca, Mechatok).
The Berlin-based artist masterfully travels between genres and tempos and revs up the dancefloor, where soft breaks are just as important as high-energy moments.
mobilegirl’s wide-ranging inspirations defy easy categorization. She thrives in the unexpected, blending genres with a distinct touch.
mobilegirl is an NTS Radio resident and co-runs an event series called SCRUB. She has performed all over the place, including CTM Berlin, Final Taipei, Ormside London, Cakeshop Seoul, Nowadays NYC.
