about
Festival Sensorium wants to contribute to the creation of a diversified and engaged cultural environment through a dramaturgy that instead of aestheticizing and recycling the “new dark age” turns to engaged thinking about the future.
Sensorium is a festival and platform for creative encounters connecting new approaches in contemporary music and interdisciplinary creativity in an inclusive space that supports diversity in the broadest sense of the word.
We’re back with a small but cute edition. We have landed on the shores of Danube at the brand new club called Subdeck. 9 cutting-edge artists, the best sound in town and dancing under the stars on the upper deck. But first, presentation of IF LAB artworks at Goethe-Institut Bratislava: get ready to be immersed in new art projects exploring the question of how water can guide us in the search for solutions to pressing environmental problems through its ability to connect the human dimension of existence with other forms of life. IF Lab 2023/24 is an interdisciplinary programme that brings together nine artists and/or researchers with backgrounds varying from environmental geography and ocean research to machine learning.
Sensorium Festival 2024 is taking place with financial support from public funds by Bratislava Foundation.
IF LAB is organized by Inspirační fórum, Kersnikova Institute, Display, Sensorium. IF LAB is co-funded by European Union.
